Switch off the computer with damaged hard disk and do not restart it; with each new start, the chance for data recovery rapidly decreases.

To the extent possible, find out information about your HDD, including:
a) manufacturer
b) type/model designation
other information usually found on the device rating place

Note the error manifestations
Make a list of most important files, try to recall the data structure on the damaged disk and add any other relevant information on your system.

a) by telephone whereby our engineers will propose the easiest and most comfortable solution for you
b) by an e-mail message including equipment information (see par. 2 above) and error description (par. 3). No later than on the following working day our staff will contact you and propose the best way of dealing with your problem

Fill in the Repair order form
a) If possible, print out the repair order form from our web pages (click on Repair order form). Fill in the form carefully to avoid misunderstanding.
b) If you cannot get hold of the repair order form, place your order in your own words by a registered letter. Make sure that such communication contains all necessary information such as required by the standard repair order form.
c) Make a keep a copy of the order form or letter.

Delivery of equipment to be repaired
a) personally to the firm Elsin, Teslova 7, Plzeň – Borská pole, Czech Republic;
during normal working hours Mo – Fri, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
b) by currier post. On the day following notification the equipment will be collected from the specified address free of charge. Package the equipment properly to avoid damage during transport and enclose the duly filled-in
Repair order form.

Upon receipt, your equipment will be subject to initial analysis based on which we will determine the extent of damage, probability of success of the recovery operation, repair completion term and fixed price. We will inform you about the result of the initial analysis. This analysis is performed free of charge.

When you approve the quoted price, the data salvaging work will start. You will be invoiced only if the recovery operation is successful.

Upon completion of the repair work you will be informed accordingly. The transfer of the recovered data will be done in the mutually agreed manner.
